Historian Linda Knoll tells the story of the women, relatives of striking miners, who in 1921 marched on the Southeast Kansas coal mines to protest unfair labor practices, and were called the Amazon Army in the national press. Co-sponsored by the Kansas Humanities Council, this program is free and open to the public.

Federal Tax Forms now are available at the library. Many forms can also be downloaded from www.irs.gov.
Kansas Tax Forms are no longer available at libraries. For information about filing your state income tax online, or ordering paper copies of state forms, visit www.kswebfile.org.
